Effects of Aspergers in Adults
by admin
Aspergers in adults can be seen through the behavior and attitude of a person. This is because As’erger’s is a neurological disorder that targets the social skills of the patient. If a person has Aspeger’s the effects could be the lack of proper social skills, disabling him from behaving properly during various situations. The disease also makes a person unable to control strong feelings such as fear, depression, and anxiety. The lack of empathy is another symptom of Asperger’s, making the person seem uncaring, cold, and insensitive. However, these characteristics are due to the person’s disease and not because they want to be that way. A person with Asperger’s often gets stressed out when a routine he set for himself is disruptive. Asperger patients always stick to a certain repetitive routine because it gives them a feeling of security. Most patients are intelligent and have a certain specialty even though they couldn’t think in abstract manner.
